Katlax Enterprises is situated at Block No. 1170119 on the Santej-Vadsar Road. Being out in Santej is a bit different from being in the middle of a crowded city GIDC. It’s a bit more open, but the work is just as intense. We have a decent-sized block here, and we’ve filled it up with all the gear we need for our daily operations. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s a good connection for us. We aren't the type to put up a bunch of posters about how great we are. We just focus on the technical side of things and making sure the electronics or whatever we are working on at the moment are handled right. There’s a lot of sitting at benches and looking at small parts here. It’s quiet work compared to a steel mill, but it takes a lot of concentration. The staff mostly comes in from the nearby villages or the outskirts of Ahmedabad. We have our tea together in the mornings before the shift starts. It’s a professional enough setup but without the corporate coldness you find in the big city towers. We just care about the output and making sure the day goes smoothly. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. That’s just the way it works on Santej-Vadsar Road. No drama, just steady progress every day.
