We are tucked away at number 7 in the Amrutkunj Housing Society. It's right behind the railway station on the east side of Kalol. Being so close to the station means you can always hear the trains coming and going, which you get used to after a week. Jsiw Infrastructure has been in this little spot for a while. It’s not a big industrial park, just a regular house turned into a workspace. We have a few desks and some old cabinets for all the project maps and files. The walk from the station is short, so that's a plus for anyone coming in. Sometimes the gate squeaks when you open it. We keep things pretty relaxed here. No one is running around in ties. We usually have some papers scattered around because there is always some project happening. The tea lady comes by in the morning and that's usually the highlight of the day. It’s a practical place. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. We spend most of our time looking at plans or talking on the phone to site managers. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we don't mind much. It’s just how it is working in Kalol. It’s not the quietest office, but we get plenty done during the day. Sometimes we have to move our cars because the neighbors need to get through the lane.
