Hotel Isher International

At Hotel Isher International, things are pretty straightforward. We are located at Qr-No-B/91 in Sector 14, which is a decent part of Rourkela. Most of the people who stay with us are just passing through for work or visiting family in Orissa. It is not like those big five-star places you see in the movies. We have rooms that are clean and a staff that knows most of the regulars by their first name. The neighborhood is okay, usually quiet at night except for the occasional car driving past. We spend a lot of time making sure the beds are made right and the water is running hot. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit hectic when everyone wants breakfast at the same time. Rourkela is an industrial town so we get a lot of people here for the steel plant. They just want a place to sleep and a bit of food. We’ve been at this location for a while now. My uncle started this place, I think. Or maybe it was a cousin, it’s been so long. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful when someone asks for directions. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but people find us anyway. It is just a regular hotel run by regular people. Nothing more to it than that. We just try to keep things comfortable for whoever walks in.
