If you take Vadsar Road out toward Santej, you will eventually find us at Plot No. 485. Gopala Polyplast Ltd. is right in the middle of Kalol Taluka in the Gandhinagar district. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main city, but we like it out here because there is more room to breathe. The facility is a large plot, which is good because we always seem to have something taking up space. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so we usually have all the big bay doors open to get a breeze through the place. The office part is just a few desks and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do not worry too much about appearances because we are too busy keeping things moving. People here mostly wear work clothes and we are not the type to wear suits. We have a small area where we keep the water cooler, which is the most popular spot in the building during July. Most of the people working here are locals from the surrounding villages. We have been part of this landscape for a while now. The road outside gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just part of being out in Santej. We do our work, talk about the weather, and keep the machines going until it is time to go.
