Padmavati Wire Industries

Padmavati Wire Industries is tucked away at Plot No. C1/1304 in Phase-1. It’s a busy little spot where we spend most of our time dealing with all sorts of metal wires. You’ll see spools of the stuff everywhere you look. Some of it is thick, some is thin, but it all needs to be handled carefully so it doesn’t get tangled. The sound of the wire drawing machines is constant from morning until evening. It’s a bit of a rhythmic noise that you eventually stop hearing. We don’t have a lot of room for fluff here. The floor is mostly taken up by heavy machinery and rolls of finished product. Our office is just a small space partitioned off from the main floor. It gets a bit hot in there, but we have a fan that helps. People in the trade know us for being at this specific plot in Phase-1. We don’t do much advertising; we just rely on the fact that people need wire and we happen to make it. It’s a dirty job, and our clothes usually have a few snags in them by the end of the week. We just like the process of turning raw metal into something useful. If you come by, you’ll probably see us loading up a small tempo with coils. It’s just a normal day of work for us. There is a small shrine near the entrance where we light incense every morning. We keep a spare set of gloves on the shelf because the metal edges can be quite sharp.
