Eye Plus Contact Lense Clinic

We’re located at Shop No.1 in the Radha Krushan building, right on Isanpur Road. We are directly opposite the Mukesh Patel Hospital, which is the big landmark in Isanpur. Our place is called Eye Plus Contact Lense Clinic. I’ve been working here for a couple of years now. It’s a narrow shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Most of the people who come in are looking for contact lenses, so I spend a lot of time teaching them how to put them in without poking themselves in the eye. It’s always a bit funny to watch the first-timers struggle with it. The Isanpur Road is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. Being right across from the hospital means there’s a lot of foot traffic. We have a small sink in the back for people to wash their hands before trying lenses. The floor is a bit scuffed up from all the boots, but we mop it every night. We have a lot of different lens brands in the cabinets. Sometimes the delivery guy comes late and I have to stay an extra hour to sort all the boxes. It’s not a glamorous job, but I like the people who come in. We’re just a local spot where you can get your lenses and go about your day. It’s just me and my cousin running the shop most days.
