We are over at Sangath Pylon in Motera, up on the fifth floor of the B block. If you know the Koteshvar Road area, it is pretty easy to find us. This place started because a few of us realized how confusing it is for students to figure out schools in other countries. It’s not just about the grades. There is so much paperwork and stuff like visas that just makes your head spin. We spend our days sitting here in Gandhinagar talking to parents and kids who have big plans but don't know where to start. Sometimes the office gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big lobby, just desks and computers and a lot of files. It’s mostly about getting the right forms filled out and making sure people don't miss deadlines. The traffic on the road outside can be a bit much during the evenings, but inside we just focus on the work. We’ve been at this for a while now. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and organize the folders. Other days, it’s a rush to get things sent off before the mail closes. We just try to be helpful and honest about what is possible and what isn't. People come in from the village and the city too. It is a mix of everyone trying to move forward.
