Dalen Electronic is based at B-66 in the Electronic Estate, GIDC, Sec-25. It’s a pretty established area, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our building is a simple one-story structure that houses our production line and a small office space. We don't have any flashy signs or high-tech decor. Instead, we have rows of soldering stations and testers that have been with us for years. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though you can hear the hum of the machines throughout the day. We aren't trying to be the most modern or fancy company in the world. We just want to make sure the electronic parts we produce work like they should and get where they need to go. Our staff is mostly people from the surrounding neighborhoods who have been with us since we opened. We don’t use a lot of fancy words when we talk to each other. We just get on with the task at hand. Sometimes the tea break is the highlight of the day. We have a small area outside where we can sit for a few minutes and get some fresh air. The GIDC estate is a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like the space it gives us. We've got an old clock on the wall that's been five minutes fast for as long as I can remember. The concrete floor has some cracks in it, but we don't mind.
