Sahaj Agro Industries

We operate out of Plot No. 3486 in Phase-4 of the Gidc Estate in Chhatral. Our work is mostly related to agro-industrial parts and equipment. It’s a dusty place because of the nature of the materials we handle. The machines we use are quite old but they still work fine if you treat them right. I usually get here before the sun is too high to get a head start on the orders. Chhatral is a bit far out, so it’s quieter than the city, which I like. We have a small yard where we keep some of the larger metal frames. My son helps me with the technical stuff now. We’ve had to replace the roof twice because of the heavy monsoons we get here. Inside the shop, there are tools hanging on the walls and piles of steel waiting to be cut. We don’t really have a sales team. People just know we are here and they come to us when their farm equipment breaks down or they need a new part made. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time getting our hands dirty with grease and oil. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, and that’s the worst part of the day. Otherwise, we just keep our heads down and get the tasks done. It feels good to see a finished piece of machinery ready to go out to a customer. We pack everything up carefully before the courier arrives in the evening.
