Cheran Plast is over at No. 256 A in Gandhi Nagar. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the ICICI Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people where to go. Being near a bank means there’s always a lot of security and people coming and going nearby. Our building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for our plastic-related work. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The workshop can get a bit warm during the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of big fans going all the time. We have a small crew that takes care of the machines and the packing. There isn't a lot of space for a lounge or anything, so we usually just take our breaks right where we work. Gandhi Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and we’ve seen a lot of shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of brochures. Most of our business comes from people who just know we’re here near the bank. The floors are often covered in small bits of plastic scraps that we sweep up at the end of every shift. It’s a honest day's work for all of us. We try to stay organized, but with so many orders, the desk often ends up buried under papers.
