Car International

You can find us on the first floor, at 101-F in Vardan House. We are right in the middle of Chabi Ganj in Kashmere Gate. If you know the area, you know it is packed with people and parts everywhere you look. It is a bit chaotic, but there is an energy to it that you do not get anywhere else in the city. Our office is up the stairs, away from the immediate noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. We deal with car parts, mostly stuff that people need to keep their vehicles running. The shelves are full of boxes and we usually have a layer of dust on everything because of the construction nearby. We do not mind it much. We have been here long enough that it feels like home. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the mechanics and shop owners who drop by. It isn't a corporate setup with glass walls or suits. It is just us in our shirtsleeves, checking catalogs and making sure we have the right items in stock. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a simple operation. We know where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It works for us. We have been at this address for years and do not plan on moving. Car International is just part of the neighborhood.
