Adani Tradecom Limited

Our office is over at Adani Corporate House in the CBD Shantigram area. It’s a pretty big building right off the S G Highway, so the commute can be a real headache if you leave at the wrong time. Usually, the traffic near Khodiyar is backed up, but you get used to it after a few months. Once you’re inside, it’s just a regular workplace with rows of desks and people talking on phones. We are part of the tradecom side of things, so there is a lot of talk about logistics and shipping schedules. It can feel a bit overwhelming because the place is so massive, but our team stays in our own little section. We spend most of the day looking at screens and tracking where things are going. It’s not all sleek and perfect like you see in some photos; there are stacks of files and empty tea cups just like any other office. Dascroi is a bit of a distance for some of us, but the area is growing fast. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing among ourselves; we just try to get the trades cleared and make sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments which sometimes takes longer than it should. But that’s just how big companies work, I suppose.
