Acme International Ltd. is based in Sector 7 C in Gandhinagar. Our address is 924/1, which is easy enough to find if you’re driving through the sector. Gujarat is a busy place for business, but our corner is relatively straightforward. We don’t have a giant glass tower or anything. It’s a functional building where we handle all our international dealings and paperwork. Every day is a bit different depending on which timezone we are talking to. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we check the inventory and talk to suppliers. The office has been here for a while, so the shelves are pretty full of old files and manuals. We don’t really go for that modern minimalist look you see in magazines. It’s a working office with real people doing real work. Sometimes the tea man comes by, and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just busy with the day-to-day tasks. Sector 7 is a good area because it’s not too loud, which helps when we need to concentrate on the details. We’ve got a few desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee mugs lying around. It’s a very grounded way to run a company.
