Our place is located at Zanda Chowk in Gandhidham. We are right there at B B Z - S -60. If you have ever been to this area, you know it is always crowded and busy around the chowk. We deal with salt and other related products. Salt is a huge part of life here in Kachchh. You can almost smell it in the air when you get close to the shop. We have a lot of bags stacked up high. It is not what anyone would call fancy work. Salt gets into everything. It is on your clothes and inside your shoes by the time you go home at night. We have a small office area where we take care of the orders. Mostly, it is just us and the guys who help load the trucks. We have been at this location for a long time. The building is a bit old, but it works for what we need. We don't really need anything more than that. We see a lot of people coming and going because we are in such a central spot. Sometimes we sit out front when the sun isn't too hot and talk to the neighbors. Everyone around here is busy with their own trade. We handle different kinds of salt, some for food and some for factories. It is a lot of manual labor with shovels and heavy bags. We just get the job done.
