Welspun Plate & Coil Mill (Hot Rolling Mill)

We’re based over at Yadav Nagar, specifically Plot No. 5/B in Anjar, Kutch. This is the spot for the Welspun Plate & Coil Mill, specifically the Hot Rolling Mill part of things. Being in Anjar means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. Our plot is just a regular work site where the machinery and the people come together. It can get pretty loud and busy because of the rolling mill work, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People come here to work, and that’s what we do. The crew knows the drills and we just keep the mill running as it should. Kutch is a tough place to work sometimes because of the weather, but we’re a hardy bunch. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and everyone knows the way to Plot 5/B. It’s not a place for tourists or anything; it’s for people who know the industry. We handle the plates and coils and make sure they get rolled out right. There’s a lot of pride in just doing a solid day’s work without needing to talk it up. We just keep things moving, day shift and night shift. It’s just a normal part of the Anjar industrial landscape for us. We’re just here doing our thing, making sure the orders are ready when they need to be.
