Welspun India Limited

If you head out to Village Varsamedi in the Anjar area, that is where you will find us at Welspun India Limited. It is a bit of a drive out here, and the surroundings are mostly rural, which is quite different from the busy city markets. We have a massive setup here, and honestly, sometimes it feels like a small town of its own because of how many people are working together. My day usually starts with the commute into Anjar and then getting into the rhythm of the facility. There is always a lot of activity, with machines running and people moving between sections. We deal with so much fabric and thread that it is hard to keep track of where it all starts and ends. Even though the company is big, for those of us on the ground, it is just about our specific tasks for the day. We have our lunch breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the village. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one shift at a time. The air out here is a bit different than in the city, and when the day is over, the walk back or the ride home is pretty quiet. We are just a big group of people making things happen in this part of Kutch, doing the work that needs to be done. It is a lot of effort, but we just keep going.
