Welspun Gujarat Steel Rohran Ltd. has its spot here in Ahmedabad at Vasant Vihar-II. We are in unit A-103, right over in the Shahibaug area near Dufnala. It’s a busy part of the city, that’s for sure. You can always hear the traffic from the road, but inside the office, we just focus on the steel pipe business. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of checking numbers and making sure the supplies are going where they need to go. We’ve been in this building for some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter as long as the work gets finished. We aren't those corporate types who wear suits every day. Most of us just wear what's comfortable for a long day at the desk. Gujarat can get so hot in the summer that the AC has a hard time keeping up, but we manage. We’ve got some good people working here who have been around for years. We know the local shops for lunch and where to get the best snacks. It's a regular workplace. No mission statements on the wall or anything like that. Just people trying to earn a living and keep the steel moving through the system. If you find yourself in Shahibaug near the old Dufnala, you're close to us. Just look for the Vasant Vihar complex. We're usually there until late.
