We are located at 11, Rampath Society in Adipur for Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd. Adipur is a nice enough place, right next to Gandhidham, so we are close to the action but in a bit more of a residential society setting. The office is just a house that’s been converted into a workspace. It makes for a pretty relaxed atmosphere compared to a giant factory. We handle a lot of the Kutch region's clerical tasks from here. There is usually a stack of delivery orders on someone’s desk and the phone rings pretty often with questions about pipe specs. We don't have any corporate posters or mission statements on the walls. It’s mostly just maps of the region and schedules taped to the desks. We know most of the people living in Rampath Society, so we try not to let the trucks block the road for too long. Sometimes we work late when there’s a big shipment coming through the port nearby. It’s a lot of small-town business vibes even though the company is big. We just focus on our own corner of the world. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for a good while now. Not much more to it than that, really. We just make sure the pipes get to where they need to go and the paperwork is sorted out. It’s a steady rhythm we have here.
