Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd has a small office in Mahavir Apartment, specifically in Room No-304. We are located right opposite the Shankarnagar Society in the Palanpur Patia area. This is on Rander Road in Surat. If you’ve been to Surat, you know Rander Road is always humming with people and shops. Our room is up on the third floor. It’s a bit of a climb, but it keeps us away from the street noise. The space is pretty tight, filled with files and a couple of tables. We don’t have a big lobby or a waiting room. If you come to see us, you’ll probably just sit on one of the extra stools we keep around. We handle a lot of the local paperwork for the steel and pipe business from here. Surat is a city that never really stops, so there’s always something to do. The ceiling fan hums all day long. We don’t wear suits here; it’s mostly shirts and trousers because of the humidity. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs. It’s a very ordinary office. We’ve been in this apartment for a few years. It’s convenient for the staff who live in the Rander area. We don’t do any fancy marketing. We just answer the phones and make sure the orders are moving. It's a simple life for us here in the city.
