Our place is over at Plot No. 318 on Goyal Avenue. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us once you get onto the main stretch. We deal with boards and wood materials all day long. The building is basically a large workspace where we keep all the stock and the cutting equipment. It stays fairly busy with people coming in to check on orders or workers moving heavy sheets of board from one side to the other. There is usually a layer of sawdust on the floor by noon, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a regular spot where the work gets done. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most of the time. The weather gets quite warm inside during the summer months, so we keep the big doors open for whatever breeze comes through Goyal Avenue. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it a bit loud, but we are used to the noise of the street and the saws. Most of us have been working with these materials for years, so we just get on with it. It is a simple business where we focus on the boards and making sure they are cut right for whoever needs them. We keep things honest and just try to finish the day's tasks without any delays or complicated processes.
