Data Bank

Our office is located in the Grain Seeds Oil Merchants Association Building, which is over in Ward 12-B of Gandhidham. We are at Plot No. 297, right near the Old Court area. It’s a solid old building, and you can usually find us there during regular business hours. Being near the court means there is always something happening outside, lots of people moving back and forth. Inside, we mostly handle data and records for different folks around Kachchh. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at screens or paper files. We’ve got piles of documents around sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. The weather in Gandhidham gets quite hot, so the fan is always running in the corner. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. People come in with questions about their records or needing help with specific information, and we do what we can to pull it up for them. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get through the day’s tasks anyway. It’s a steady kind of life here in the merchant building. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the neighbors are all familiar faces by now.
