If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the second floor of the GMA Building. It’s plot number 297 in Ward 12-b. Gandhidham is a big place, but this area stays pretty active throughout the day. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we get our exercise just going back and forth to the trucks. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of old folders and a few desks that have seen better days. We’ve been working out of this spot for a bit, and it suits us just fine. We handle a lot of the local building work around here. It usually involves a lot of back-and-forth with the guys on the ground. Kachchh has its own way of doing things, and we just follow the rhythm of the town. We don't have any big reception area or anyone to answer phones in a professional way. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. Most of the time, our boots are covered in mud or cement, so we try not to track it all over the 2nd floor. It’s a straightforward operation. We look at the plans, talk to the workers, and go where the projects take us. Sometimes the power goes out in the building, and we just sit by the window for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a simple life of managing sites and workers.
