Universaltrading Co

Our office is at 104-a, Plot No. 116, over in Sector - 8 of Gandhidham. Universaltrading Co has been here in the Kachchh district for some time. It’s a busy area because of the port and all the trade going on. We are right in the middle of it. Our office is small and usually piled high with papers and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails. Trading isn't always smooth; sometimes prices change or ships are delayed. We just take it in stride. There are only a few of us here, so we all do a bit of everything. One day I might be doing the books, and the next day I’m checking on a shipment at the warehouse. We don't have a fancy dress code. Most days it’s just jeans and a shirt. The weather in Gandhidham can be quite dry and salty because we’re so close to the coast. We’ve gotten used to it. People who deal with us know they can just stop by for a chat. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. We just try to be fair and get the job finished. It’s a simple operation at Universaltrading Co. We’ve been at this same spot for years and don't plan on moving anytime soon. We have a small fridge for water and snacks, and that’s about all the luxury we have. It works for us and our clients seem to like the directness.
