Our office for Tristar Logistics (I) Pvt. Ltd. is located on the 2nd Floor of Plot No. 130, over in Sector 8 of Gandhidham-Kachchh. Being in Gandhidham means we are right in the middle of a very busy shipping and transport hub. From our windows on the second floor, we can see the trucks moving through the sector all day long. We spend most of our time coordinating transport and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking computer screens. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and chairs and plenty of files. We have a small team here who knows the local routes and the port area really well. Kachchh is a unique place to work, and the weather can be a bit harsh, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the phones act up, but we just keep at it until the job is done. We don't have a big corporate feel; we're more like a group of people just trying to make sure goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s steady work, and Sector 8 is a convenient place for us to be located. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep things moving. There is always a lot of paperwork to get through every afternoon to keep the containers on schedule.
