Swaa Corporation Pvt. Ltd. operates out of 413-414 in the N 2 Type area of the New Area in the Kandla Special Economic Zone. This is way out in Gandhidham, Kachchh. Being in an SEZ means there are a lot of rules and security gates to go through every single day. Our building is a simple one, nothing too modern to look at from the outside. We do our work here every day, dealing with the logistics of being in such a large industrial zone. The weather in Kachchh is often dry and very hot, which makes the work day feel long. We have two units, 413 and 414, so we have a bit of space to move around and store our things. Most of our time is spent on the computer or handling the physical goods that come through the zone. It is a quiet place in some ways but very busy with paperwork and customs requirements. We do not have a fancy front desk or a public relations person. We are just a group of people making sure the business stays on track. The commute to the Kandla SEZ can be a bit of a trek for some of us, but we are used to it by now. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized among all the local regulations. It is a practical life here in Gandhidham. We take our lunch breaks together and then get back to the stacks of files and boxes.
