Standard Gensets

Standard Gensets is located at Standard House, Plot No. 233, in Sector 1- A of Gandhidham- Kachchh. We work with generators, which means our yard is usually full of big metal boxes and the smell of diesel. In this part of Kachchh, the power is not always reliable, so people need us to keep their lights on. We do a lot of repairs and maintenance. It is a dusty job because the wind here blows the sand into everything. We spend a lot of time taking engines apart and putting them back together. Our team is small, just a few mechanics who do not mind getting their hands black with oil. We do not have a showroom with shiny new models. Most of what we have is out in the yard being worked on. We have been at this plot for a good while. People know that if their generator makes a weird noise, they can bring it to us or we can send someone out to their site. We do not use much marketing; we just rely on the fact that we have been here and people know our faces. It is hot work, especially in the summer, but we have a shady spot under a tin roof where we take our breaks. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the machines we fix actually run when they are supposed to. It is a straightforward business.
