Aasutosh Marine

Down near the ports, Aasutosh Marine has its setup at Office No. 15 in the Silver Arc building. This is the Kandla- Mundra area, so you can imagine it’s all about ships, containers, and the sea. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We handle various marine-related tasks and the paperwork that comes with them. Silver Arc is a busy building with a lot of people coming in and out from different companies. You can usually smell the salt in the air when the wind blows the right way. It’s a working office, filled with maps, schedules, and various marine parts or documents lying around. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people at the docks. Sometimes it’s hectic when a ship is coming in or leaving, and other times it’s just quiet work at the computer. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast. The chairs are the basic plastic kind and the tea comes from the stall downstairs. It’s a straightforward environment for people who are used to the port life. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just Office No. 15 where we manage the marine business as best as we can every single day of the week.
