Shyam Electric Store

Shyam Electric Store is located in Gandhidham, specifically behind B B Z N 48/49 near the North Flour Mill. It’s a bit of a dusty area in Kachchh, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The store itself is packed with all sorts of electrical bits and pieces. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling, and sometimes you have to move three things just to find the one thing you’re looking for. It’s not the most organized shop in the world, but we know our inventory. Being near the flour mill means there’s often a bit of a grain smell in the air, which is something you just get used to. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a place where you can come to find what you need for a repair or a project. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who aren't quite sure what part they need. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a couple of us who have been around wires and switches for a long time. The floor is a bit uneven and the front door squeaks, but it’s our shop. We’ve seen the town grow and change, but we stay right here in our corner behind B B Z N. It’s a steady life and we aren't looking for anything flashy or complicated to deal with.
