Shree Vinayak Petroleum

Our place is located at D B Z - N - 99 in the Khanna Market area of Gandhidham. If you know the Kachchh region, you know how dusty and dry it can get, especially when the wind picks up around the market. Shree Vinayak Petroleum is right in the middle of it all. We see a lot of trucks and local vehicles coming through every single day. The morning starts before the sun is even up, getting the pumps ready and checking the tanks. It is a lot of standing around outside, which is fine during the winter but gets pretty tough in the summer heat. We have a small office where we keep the records and take a break when it is quiet. There isn't much quiet time, though. The sound of engines is basically the background noise for everything we do. We have got a few guys working the shifts, making sure the lines move along. Sometimes the tankers arrive late at night to refill the underground storage, and that means staying up to oversee the delivery. It is a lot of routine work, checking meters and handling the cash. We do not really have any slogans or anything. We just make sure the fuel is there when people need it. The area around Khanna Market is always busy, so there is always someone needing something. We just stay focused on the work at hand and go home tired.
