Finding us isn't too hard if you know where Rajkamal Arcade is. We are up on the first floor in units 101 and 102. The office overlooks the busy street near the B M Petrol Pump in Gandhidham. It stays pretty loud outside with all the trucks and tankers pulling in and out of the station all day long. Inside, it's mostly the sound of printers going and people talking on their phones about vessel schedules or truck arrivals. The walls are covered with old calendars and maps of the Kachchh region. We deal with a lot of paperwork here, stacks of files that seem to grow every time we clear a few off the desk. Ward 12b is a busy part of town, so there's always someone coming up the stairs with a delivery or a question. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, especially during the monsoon when the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for tea, which is basically what keeps us going through the long afternoons. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly just desks and chairs we’ve picked up over the years as we needed them. It’s a straightforward shipping office. Nothing is particularly polished or modern, but the work gets tracked and the logs stay updated. It’s just the daily routine of moving goods through the port and across the roads.
