We are out here in Gandhidham-kachchh at Plot No. 115 in the G I D C. The weather out here in Kutch can be pretty harsh, so our building takes a bit of a beating from the sun and the wind. It’s a dusty area, and we spend a good amount of time just keeping the workspace clear of the grit that blows in. We are an enterprise that handles a bit of everything that the local industries might need. The plot is quite large, which is lucky because we end up storing a lot of heavy items. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits. It’s just us in our work shirts. Most of the day is spent checking inventory or talking to the truck drivers who come in from the port area. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper. The building itself is a standard grey structure, easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number 115. We usually have a big water cooler near the door because the heat gets intense by noon. We’ve been part of this G I D C for years now. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, we just want to make sure the orders are right and the work is finished. It’s a quiet life if you don't mind the sound of the wind.
