Shakti Freight Forwarders

Shakti Freight Forwarders is located at Office No 4 on the ground floor of Neelam Complex. It is over in Ward 12/b in Gandhidham-kachchh. Being so close to the port means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. We spend our days tracking different shipments and talking to truck drivers about their routes. There is a whole lot of paperwork involved in moving goods from one place to another. Our office is fairly small and it usually smells like coffee and old files. We have to keep track of complicated schedules and just hope the weather doesn't mess things up. Sometimes containers get delayed at the docks and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to find out what happened. It's a stressful job but someone has to do it. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just try to get the boxes where they need to go on time. Plot No 298 is where we spend most of our waking hours during the week. The chairs in the office aren't the most comfortable, but we are rarely sitting down for very long anyway. Most of us have lived in Gandhidham for many years, so we know all the shortcuts and the best places to grab a quick meal. It is a tough industry with lots of competition. We just focus on our own tasks and try to stay organized.
