Chandan Salt Traders

You can find us over at Arihant Chambers in Gandhidham. We are specifically at Plot Number 117 in Sector 1-A. This part of Kachchh is pretty well known for salt, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is in a building with a lot of other businesses, so there is always someone walking past the door. We have been doing this for a long time, and salt is pretty much all we talk about during the day. The air here has a bit of a salty tang to it, which I guess is normal for this area. Our space is just a regular office with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. We aren't much for fancy technology; we still like to write things down and keep physical files for most stuff. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the roads in Gandhidham, but it’s a good spot for us. The weather is usually dry, and the sun can be really bright reflecting off everything. We just go about our work and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s steady and we have a good rhythm going. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re all pretty used to each other’s habits. We just keep things simple and honest.
