Satish Fancy Store

Satish Fancy Store is located right in the middle of the main market in Gandhidham, specifically in the Vachli Line area. Being in the market means it’s always busy. There is a lot of noise and people walking past our door all day long. We’ve been at S 82 for many years now. It’s a family-run kind of place. We sell all sorts of small items that people need for their homes or for special occasions. The shelves are usually packed tight because we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy website or a big social media presence. We just open the shutters every morning and wait for the customers to arrive. Most of the people who shop here are regulars who have been coming to us for a long time. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when the market is at its peak, but we just keep going. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the store running and serve the people of Katch as well as we can. It’s hard work, but we like being here in the market every day.
