We are based out in Gandhidham, specifically in Shed No. 233 in Sector III of the KSEZ. It is a bit out of the way for some people, but being in the Special Economic Zone makes sense for the type of garment work we do every day. The shed itself is quite large, though it never feels big enough once you get all the machines and the fabric stock inside. It can get really hot in Gandhidham during the summer, so we have these big industrial fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving for everyone. Working in a garment factory is not always an easy job. There is a lot of repetitive movement and you have to keep your eyes on the small details for hours. We have a lot of workers who have been with us for years, and they are really the ones who keep the whole place going. It is not a shiny corporate office. There is grease on some of the machine parts and stacks of old paper on the desks that never seem to go away. We handle a lot of different orders, some big and some small. There is no fancy philosophy behind what we do. We just try to get the stitching straight and make sure the sizes are what they are supposed to be. Every morning starts with the same routine of opening the big metal doors. It is a steady life, and we are okay with that.
