Ravi Art Gallery

Ravi Art Gallery is tucked away in Shop No. 16/17 within Swamivevekanand Market. If you know where Oslo Circle is in Sector 1, we’re just right there on Oslo Road. It’s a nice enough spot. We have a couple of shops joined together to make more room for the frames and paintings. The market stays pretty active throughout the day. We’ve been here long enough that the walk to work feels like second nature. There’s always something to organize or clean. Some days we just sit and wait for someone to walk in, other days it’s a total mess of packing and unpacking. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. We just prefer being in the shop. Oslo Road has changed quite a bit since we first opened our doors. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s good to have that kind of community. The light in the morning hits the front windows just right. We keep the gallery open fairly late most nights. It's just what we do. Being near the circle makes it convenient for folks to drop off their stuff. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just run our gallery and hope the weather stays decent. It’s a peaceful way to spend the day. Sometimes we grab a quick bite from the market vendors during lunch. It keeps us grounded in the neighborhood rhythm.
