We spend our days at the Amba Aarcade, right in room T C X S 105. It is directly across from the Mahesana Urban Co-operative Bank, so we have a good view of people going in and out of there all day. Gandhidham is a busy place, and this part of Kachchh always has something going on. Our office is not one of those fancy ones you see in magazines. It is just a simple room with our desks and some old cabinets for files. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. You get used to the sounds of the arcade and the traffic outside. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs. It is mostly a small operation here. We handle our daily work without making a big deal out of it. We know most of the other shop owners nearby. We often grab a cup of tea from the stall around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. We do not do much in the way of big announcements or marketing. People mostly find us because they are looking for help and someone told them we were here. It is a very local way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always something else to finish first.
