Our place is on the first floor of the GMA Building, office 44. It’s over in Ward 12 B in Gandhidham. If you’ve been around Plot 297, you’ve probably seen the building. It’s an older place but it’s right where everything happens in the trading world here. We do a lot of import and export stuff. Mostly, we are sitting at the desks, looking at invoices and talking to customs people. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the internet is slow or a shipment gets held up at the port, and we have to figure it out. That’s just how it goes in this business. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us making sure the goods get to where they’re supposed to be. The office gets a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. People come by to talk about orders and we usually have some tea going. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighbors. Gandhidham is a port town, so there's always something new coming in. We don't use any fancy software or big slogans. We just handle the papers and make sure the containers are moving. It’s a lot of daily grind, checking lists and making phone calls, but we like being right in the middle of it all.
