Prasar Enterprises

Prasar Enterprises is situated in the Kandla Special Economic Zone, specifically at A/2, 316-317 Marshazling Yard. Being in Gandhidham means we deal with a lot of salt and dust coming off the coast. The SEZ is a restricted area, so there are always guards and paperwork at the gates. It’s a massive place with rows and rows of warehouses. Our spot in the Marshazling Yard is where we spend most of our time. We deal with a lot of boxes and shipping containers. The air always has that heavy, industrial feel to it. We don't have a fancy office setup; it’s mostly just metal desks and some old filing cabinets. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes, which is a pain when we have to file customs documents. We usually eat our lunch quickly because there is always a truck arriving or leaving. It’s a high-pressure environment but we are used to the pace. The wind blows hard across the open spaces here. We spend a lot of time double-checking lists and making sure the labels are correct. It’s not the kind of job you see on TV. It’s just logistics and handling cargo in a very busy port zone. We just keep our heads down and make sure the items get to where they need to go.
