Pramukh Exim Pvt Ltd

Our place is in the Anam Commercial Complex, room 108, over on Plot 37 in Sector 9. We are right in the heart of Gandhidham in Kachchh. Being near the port makes things move fast around here. Pramukh Exim Pvt Ltd is basically a small group of us sitting in a room with a lot of phones and computers. We spend most of our time talking to shipping agents and checking on where containers are. It gets pretty stressful when a ship is late or paperwork gets stuck at the docks. You can usually tell how the day is going by how many empty coffee cups are on the desks. We aren't fancy people. We wear casual clothes and don't care much for corporate titles. We just want to make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go. Sometimes we stay late into the night because of the time differences with other countries. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing. The office walls are covered with calendars and maps that have scribbles all over them. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have a system that works for us. We’ve been doing this long enough to know that things rarely go exactly as planned. We just do our best to handle the mess.
