Prakash Modi & Accounting Works

Our office is tucked away in Jantanagar Society, over in the Bharatnagar area of Gandhidham. Number 77 is where you’ll find Prakash Modi & Accounting Works. It’s more of a residential neighborhood than a commercial district, which gives the place a calm vibe. There are trees around and you can hear the neighbors going about their day. The office itself is quite simple. We didn't do much in terms of interior design; we just put in some sturdy tables and enough shelves to hold all the paperwork. It’s a bit of a maze of files sometimes, but we know where everything is. The fan overhead hums all day long, and the floor is just plain tiles. We don’t have a big staff, so it’s usually just a couple of us sitting here. We start our mornings with the newspaper and a quick cleanup of the desks. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the clock ticking when it’s quiet. Gandhidham can get very hot, so we mostly stay indoors and keep the curtains drawn to block the sun. We aren't interested in being a high-pressure corporate environment. It’s just a local spot where we handle the books and chat with the people who drop by from the society. We’ve been here in Bharatnagar for a while, and the routine hasn’t changed much, which is just fine with us.
