Our office is over in Kerwa Nagar Society, right near Vallabh Park. If you know the Sabarmati area, specifically the "D" Cabin part, you know it’s a busy little pocket of Ahmedabad. We’ve been set up here at number 11 for some time now. It’s a standard workspace where we manage the project details. It gets a bit noisy outside sometimes with the trains and the general local bustle, but we don’t mind it much. It feels like a real part of the city. Inside, we have our desks and all the project charts pinned up on the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at drawings and schedules. It isn’t always glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We try to stay on top of the different stages of each job. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, handle the project management tasks, and try to keep things moving forward. It’s a lot of small details that have to come together. We just try to make sure they do, one day at a time. It’s steady work and keeps us all pretty occupied throughout the week. We usually eat lunch together at the big table in the back room.
