Patel Wood Products Ltd.

We spend most of our days here at the yard in Gandhidham. It's right on the 6th mile stone of N.H. Way 8-A. The weather out here in Mithi Rohar gets pretty hot, but we keep busy with the wood piles. Patel Wood Products Ltd. has been around for a bit now. We mostly just deal with raw timber and getting things cut to size. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the saws, which is just part of the job. Most of the guys here have been working these machines for years. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just get the wood moved and sorted so it can go where it's needed. The yard is big, spanning survey numbers 556 and 557. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the highway, especially during the busy season. It can be a bit chaotic on Mondays. We focus on the wood we have in front of us. Some days it’s teak, other days it’s something else. We just try to get the orders right and out the door. If you drive past the 6th mile, you'll see us. It isn't a showroom, just a place where work happens. We don’t spend much time in an office. Most of us are outside or in the shed. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. Just a local spot making sure the timber moves and everyone stays safe.
