Parsvanath Marbles

If you head over to Plot No. 143 Gidc in Gandhidham, you’ll find us at Parsvanath Marbles. It’s a dusty place, honestly. Marble is heavy and messy to move around, so our yard is always full of slabs and offcuts. We spend most of our time moving these big stones with the crane. It takes a lot of patience to get things right. Some days are busier than others, and sometimes the trucks show up all at once, which makes the yard a bit crowded. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most of the guys here have been working with stone for years, so we have a decent feel for the different types of marble that come through. It’s not a quiet job. The cutting saws make a lot of noise, and there’s always water running to keep the blades cool. We wear boots all day because the floor stays wet. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we're here in the Gidc area. If you need to see a specific slab, you’ll probably have to walk through the stacks with us. It’s a straightforward business. We just show up, handle the stone, and make sure things are loaded properly. It’s heavy work, but someone has to do it. Stop by if you’re nearby; someone is usually around the main shed.
