Pars Enterprise

Being right in the Main Bazar of Gandhidham means things are never quiet for Pars Enterprise. Our address at D-58 is right where all the action is. From the moment we unlock the doors in the morning, there’s a stream of people walking past and the sound of shopkeepers calling out to each other. It’s a bit of a tight space inside, packed with all the things we need to run the business, but we manage. We’ve been here for years, and we know the rhythms of the bazaar like the back of our hands. We know when the morning rush starts and when things will finally quiet down for a bit in the evening. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who step inside for a minute to ask a question. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. The Kachchh weather is usually dry and hot, so we keep a big jug of water in the corner. Sometimes we sit on stools outside the front door for a few minutes just to watch the crowd go by. It’s a busy, sometimes messy way to spend the day, but it’s our routine and we’ve gotten quite used to it after all this time.
