Pacific Shipping Marine Service

Our office is over in Ridhdhi Arcade, right in Sector 8 of Gandhidham. We are in room 207. It’s a decent spot, though parking around Plot No. 13 can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day. We’ve been working in marine services for quite some time now. It’s the kind of work where you’re always checking the clock and the weather. Most of our day is spent coordinating things for ships or making sure the right people have the right documents. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s mostly just making sure the logistics don't get messed up. The team here is pretty small, just a few of us who have lived in Kachchh most of our lives. We know how the local ports operate and we’ve seen how much things have changed in Gandhidham over the years. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes things go smooth, other times there’s a delay at the harbor and we have to sit on the phone for hours trying to find out where everything is. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for those long afternoons. It is just a regular office where we try to stay organized. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just reliable enough that people keep coming back to office 207 when they need help with their marine stuff. It’s steady work and we like the people we deal with.
