Oswa Lplywood

You’ll find Oswa Lplywood right at Plot No. 227 in Sector 1-A. We are situated quite close to Dr. Nitin Thacker’s Hospital here in Gandhidham-Kachchh. The shop is usually full of the smell of fresh wood and sawdust. We keep different stacks of plywood and boards leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a new shipment in. Customers come in looking for specific thicknesses or types of wood for their home projects. We help them load it onto their trucks or rickshaws. My cousin and I run the place together. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It’s just the wood and us. Sometimes the edges of the boards get a little dusty, so we give them a quick wipe before they go out. We've been in this neighborhood for a while, so we know most of the carpenters and contractors around here by name. They usually stop by for a chat even if they aren't buying anything that day. The phone rings a lot with people asking about prices, which can be a bit distracting when we are trying to count the inventory. We just do our best to keep things moving. It’s a simple trade and we like being part of the local building community. We’ve learned a lot about wood over the years just by handling it every single day.
