Our setup is out at Shed No. 369-370 in Sector 4. Being in the Kandla Special Economic Zone in Gandhidham means things work a bit differently here. It's very industrial. You see trucks moving in and out all day long. Om Siddh Vinayak Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from these sheds for quite some time now. The Kachchh weather can be tough, especially in the middle of summer when the heat really hits the metal roofs. We spend most of our time inside checking stocks or talking to transporters. It's not a place with shiny glass windows or carpets. It's a working shed. We handle a lot of different goods, mostly focusing on the import-export side of things because of where we are located. The port isn't far, so there's always a sense of things moving toward the sea. We have a small group of staff who know the routines well. We don't do much fancy talking. If a shipment is coming in, we're there to see it through. If something is delayed, we're on the phone trying to figure out why. It’s just honest, hard work in a dusty part of the country. We like the rhythm of the SEZ. It’s predictable in a way that helps us stay on top of the logistics side without too much fuss. It isn't always pretty, but we get the job done and keep the goods moving across the borders.
