Nexus Placement Service

Our little office for Nexus Placement Service is over in the Green Land area. It’s a decent place to work, though it’s nothing too special to look at from the outside. We spend the majority of our hours looking at resumes and answering the phone when people are calling about jobs. It can get a bit stressful when a lot of people show up at once looking for work, and we only have so many chairs in the waiting area. We try to keep things organized with our folders, but sometimes the desk gets buried under papers and coffee cups. The neighborhood is fairly calm compared to the city center, which is nice when we’re trying to conduct an interview or talk to a client on the phone. We aren't some big corporate agency with fancy suits. Most of the time we’re just wearing regular clothes and trying to help people find a spot where they can earn a paycheck. You can usually find us here from morning until late evening, just sorting through emails and making notes on who might be good for which position. It’s a lot of talking and listening to people’s stories about where they’ve worked before. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out, but we always manage to get the lists updated eventually. We just like being here in Green Land and doing our part to help people get started.
