We are based in Gandhidham, which is a very different kind of place compared to the big crowded cities. It’s a town mostly built around the port and heavy industry. Our office for Nbcc Limited here is pretty straightforward and easy to find. We don't have a long address with many details because the town is laid out simply. The weather here is mostly dry and very hot, and the wind carries a lot of dust from the nearby industrial zones into the office. Our workspace is purely functional. We have desks, chairs, and some filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. There’s no big decoration or fancy lighting to impress anyone. We focus on the industrial and infrastructure work that happens in this part of Gujarat. People here are practical and don't waste much time on small talk. We spend our days coordinating between different sites and making sure the supplies are moving on the trucks. The town has a very specific rhythm because of the shipping and transport business. We are part of that cycle. Sometimes we have to drive out to the port or to the nearby villages for project work. When we are in the office, it’s mostly about managing the accounts and the logistics. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We are just a group of people working in a dusty town, trying to get things built.
